About Torbay and the area
You can use Stover Lodge as a base to explore the Devon countryside with its amazing scenery and pretty villages. You can walk along the South Devon Coastal Path or explore with Dartmoor.
The cities of Exeter and Plymouth are within easy reach as well as the beautiful towns of Dartmouth and Totnes.
Torbay has 22 miles of coastline with over 20 beaches, so whether it's swimming, fishing or just lying on the beach you enjoy there's plenty for everyone.
Even if you come without a car or just don't fancy driving whilst on holiday, we are ideally situated for touring the area with access to both trains and buses nearby. Lots of local attractions (see a few below).
